Mobcraft

Free beer always tastes a little bit better.

Mobcraft, a brewery that began in Madison, is now a local staple in Milwaukee. With an ever-changing menu and customer participation, this brewery stands high on my list of favorites. Offering tours on Fridays and Saturdays, you can learn the story of Mobcraft and sample beer. At the end, everyone is welcome to submit a suggestion for what they'd like to be brewed next. From there, a winner is selected and that's when the magic happens. That is how my beer, 'I Love You Berry Much', came to life. My strawberry rhubarb sour they created is the perfect amount of sweet with a slight bitterness. As a tour winner, I got ten free glasses on the release day, so I brought some of my girls (and boys) and we enjoyed some tasty beer. Beyond 'I Love You Berry Much', they currently have great summer options, my favorite being Sour Support. It is important to note that while I have only discussed sour beers, there are endless options and something for everyone. Mobcraft is the place to go if you always want to have something new to sip.

Looking for a bite to eat? Mobcraft often has a food truck parked outside or, during the week days, buy a pretzel, regular or fam size, whatever your preference may be.

Their taproom and brewery share a space, giving customers a look into daily operations or just a great place to grab a beer with friends. Garage doors open during nice weather to provide more space and create an interactive atmosphere. Inside, there are old couches and chairs for a comfy seat, barrel tables for standing, or picnic tables for larger groups. And they aren't short on activities either; play some pong, bags, or grab a board game.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet because you really need to just go check this place out for yourself (and, obviously, try my strawberry rhubarb sour while you're at it).
